Apple Watch Series 8 Design

There has not been a real rumor about the design of the Apple Watch Series 8, whereby a lot of rumors about the new Series 7 design that does not come to reality. Jon Prosser the writer of FrontPage Tech reported in May 2021 that apple is seriously working on a new Apple Watch design, having the feature of a flat edge like the iPhone 13 and iPad mini. A Chinese analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo stated that Apple Watch Series 8 would feature an improved form factor.

It looks like the Apple Watch Series 7 look different but not dramatically changed (like a square or circular design). Despite the massive supply affecting all Apple products, it really makes sense and is interesting that Apple just went for a simple design in the year 2021.

Apple Watch Series 8 Display.

Apple Watch Series 4 introduced the 40mm and 44mm model. And since then the size still remains the same until Apple Watch Series 7 comes with 41mm and 45mm model sizes which is an increase of 1mm over the Apple Watch Series 6. But Apple Watch Series 8 might come up with another screen size come year 2022.

Gurmen reported in mid-2021 that the Series 7 would spot updated screen technology, while 91mobiles says that Apple may be using a new lamination technique that is expected to bring the panel closer to the front cover. But a hard coating and thinner bezels are gotten, in which the Series 7 appear just as having the same display as the previous models. An updated Series having a different display on a new screen process is expected and is what we are looking forward to in 2022.

Probably there is going to be a new size just in addition to the Series 7 that has 41mm and 45mm models. Because Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants reported in October 2021 that people should not be amazed or surprised if three models are to be introduced in the year 2022. This now means that Apple might introduce a larger model that is 48mm-50mm range or more.

The Health and fitness features.

Since the Apple Watch Series 7 is identical in the health features and sensors to that of the Series 6, I think the next model could come with a very huge advancement in the health and fitness features.

As reported by “the Telegraph” in May 2021, speculating the future Apple watches might specialize more on human health (health and fitness features), with features like glucose, blood pressure, and alcohol level monitoring. But Bloomberg also reported that if Apple is working on the above features, it might not be ready for use come several years.

The temperature sensor is also expected to be included in the development of Series 8, meanwhile, the feature was basically planned for Series 7. Bloomberg reported then that the series 7 watch could come with a new swim-track feature, in which was unable to be part of the feature after production.

In January, a device used to measure sleep time, heart rate, breathing, snoring, humidity, and bedroom temperature called Beddit sleep tracker, in which apple stopped it selling. This Beddit was achieved by Apple in the year 2017, but rumor has been bringing it that the advanced sleep tracking feature will be available for the Apple Watch Series 8.

Apple Watch Series 8: ‘Rugged’ model for extreme athletes.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg stated in December that Apple could release an Apple Watch with a rugged/strong casing, which could attract users who participate in extreme events and sporting activities. Such a watch would presumably have an exterior/outer that’s more scratch- and impact-resistant to better compete with Casio and Luminox rugged watches.

It is certain to some extent that the features that are expected to be in the Apple Watch Series 7 might all be updated and show up in the new version of the Apple watch.

Apple Watch Series 8 Bands.

Apple Watch Series 7 was delivered with a new round of colors but did not introduce any new band style. This is because Apple has been supporting all previous bands with each model of the apple watch, which even includes the Series 7. With this, there is no reason to think that Series 8 will break the past trend.

watchOS 8 will bring several new features to the Apple Watch Series 7.

It Pricing and release.

Apple Watch has been predicted to be released in the early fall of 2016, probably Apple Watch Series 8 might also be. It is expected that the price to remain the same as well, with the Series 8 starting at around $399. The rugged model might likely be more expensive.
