Virus spreading: There are several cases whereby people spread viruses through Facebook, and this havoc is always easy to cause when an unknown person logged into your account. This might be done by sending links to unsuspected friends, which will later cause you and your friends a problem.
Linking with other accounts: An account owner can link their Facebook account with other social networks but this will be a problem if an unknown user tries to log in without the owner’s consent, such a person can also cause problems by linking the Facebook account with several social media accounts.
Tapping of private information: Every user of Facebook has some personal information that is not shared with the public, such as date of birth, gender, political belief, and lots more. An unknown user may try to extract such information not shared with the public for one reason or the other.

How the Removing of Device having Access to your Facebook Account is done
Once you notice a suspicious action on your Facebook account, such as the change of your personal information. You can make use of the list explained under “where you’re logged in” above to deal with such indecent actions.
In order to stop all this access from an unknown user, you can tap on the “three vertical dots” in front of the phone (device) that you want to remove. Two options will pop up immediately, to either select Not you? or Log out.
By tapping on Not you? the specific phone or device will be blocked and you will be taken through some steps in order to get your account secured.
And tapping on the Log Out means the phone or device will be deprived of logging in to your account. But at times, the unknown user could log in again, if your password is made known to him.
To start afresh, scroll down the bottom of the list of devices and tap on the Log-out of all sessions.
NOTE: For users to keep their Facebook account safe from an unknown user, two-factor authentication can be made use of. So as to deny access when Facebook notices an attempted login from an unrecognized device or browser.
