In order to make your request to be fast, you can just quickly dial the code *123*1*1# and then send it. After this also, your phone number will be displayed on your phone screen, and will also receive a text message on your phone.

At times, you might find the method above difficult. MTN has offered its users several services, one of which is the use of MTN call me back to reach out to our loved ones. Even this service does not require a dine from us. Below is how to use the MTN call me back to check your number.

  1. Just dial *133# on your phone dial pad.
  2. Welcome to MTN call me back service will be displayed on your phone screen.
  3. Then you will be asked to type in the number of the person to that you want to send the call me back message.
  4. And finally, a message will be dropped to the person’s phone number. And from there, you can ask the recipient of the message to dictate the number that sent the message, which is your number.

Via calling another number

I think one of the easiest ways to know your phone number even without using the USSD code or without the use of the MTN call me back is by dialing another person’s phone number. Therefore, below is how to check your MTN phone number by dialing another person’s phone number.

  1. Firstly, make sure you have at least airtime you can use for flashing.
  2. Choose someone’s phone number that is nearby.
  3. Just put a call through the number and hang up or cut the call. So, ask the person to dictate the number that just called him/her now for you. And that is your number.

Using MTN beep

Another method to detect and know your phone number is through the use of MTN beep. This MTN beep is one of the latest services that MTN has added to their network, for users to benefit from. The greatest advantage that MTN beep has ahead of other calling methods is that, you don’t need to have any airtime before flashing is sent to the recipient.  Below is the method of using MTN beep to check your MTN phone number.

  1. Choose someone’s phone number that is nearby to dial.
  2. Just put a call through the number and hang up or cut the call after some seconds. So, ask the person to dictate the number that just beeps him/her now for you. And that is your number.

NOTE: This beep is just like a normal call but in a flashing form. This call can never be picked at the other end, just as the name implies “beep”.
