How long does it take Facebook to take an action?
It is quite known before the COVID-19 pandemic that Facebook does react and responded to reports in nothing more than 48 hours. But since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the time it took Facebook to respond to the report has increased drastically, this is due to the fact that half of Facebook employees are now working from home and also the Facebook staff has been reduced.
So, responding to the report now takes Facebook between 48 hours to a week (1 week) in order to grant your request.
Also, the reporter can refer to their support inbox, where the ticket number for the report submitted can be gotten. This ticket number helps to check the real information about a particular report.
How many reports are needed before Facebook could take an action?
Actually, several reports are needed before Facebook could even take an action. It usually takes around 10 reports for Facebook to take action just on any page and even having more than 10 reports will always place the reported page on a scale of preference (priority queue). So, it is the work of the moderator to review this report one by one (one after the other) so as to place it on a priority queue.
After this, Facebook will now check the report to the previous one, in order to know the necessary action to take on the reported page.
