One of the NFL Prospect Charged with Racing in a Fatal Crash

Georgia police have issued an arrest warrant for one of the most prominent NFL’s prospects this year. As stated, Jalen Carter, 21, has been linked and charged with indecent driving in January, which leads to the loss of life of two (2) people, including a teammate in the university of Georgia, ESPN stated. It was said that, Jalen Carter was riding in his 2021 Jeep Trackhawk against with a 2021 Ford Expedition, which was also driven by a recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy, 24, stated by the AP.  All these happened in January 15, that lead to the death of two lives.

It was stated by the officials that the vehicle LeCroy’s was driving was purposely meant for the recruitment and that her level of alcohol was more than the legal limit in the country.

This accident happened just some hours after Bulldog had celebrated their second straight national championship in a parade round the city. Also, the arrest warrant stated that both Carter and LeCroy were driving at a very high speed, compare to saying they are doing car racing, all these happened after they left the downtown Athens, Georgina, at around 2:30 am.

When accused, Carter told the policemen that he has gone far even before the crash/accident, but later said that he was at a point moving along with the vehicle on the road, which is according to the document by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

According to the same document, Carter had left the accident spot before the emergency service even arrive, but later returned after 1h 30min (90min). Carter also said in an NBC Sport statement that “I have it in my intention to return back to Athens in order to answer all the misdemeanor charges against me, and to make accurate and certain truth”, this is because he missed the interview scheduled for him on Wednesday.
